I would be the first to admit I was wrong(although ask Mr Supamum and he'll say I never do, that's cause I am always RIGHT) any way yesterday I posted that PALS did not have a website, that after Googling PALS and all other relevant words (or so I thought) Thanks to More Oz Ramblings I now have the site address...To those who are interested in such dribble it's PALS.
I am NOT IN ANY WAY advocating such a site, just entering into the forum an "alternative"(for want of a better word) view of what people believe is right. Sort of "walk on the weird and draconian" side of non forgiveness and "once a crim always a crim" mentality. So thank you to Mr Oz for the information and thanks to PALS for the laughs.
Next, given that Mr 5 has had the dreaded "yuk bug" I have had the opportunity to speak to a few others about this issue. Apparently one local school is down to an average of 12 students per class due to this bug and it is rampant in the pre schools as well. Given that when we first moved here(over a decade ago) we were warned not to drink the water (never found out why) and on several occasions at our old place we had brown, smelly water come from the taps..You have to wonder about this outbreak of "yuk bug". Gastro is usually contracted via hand/mouth contact or contaminated food. Now, patient zero could not have possibly had hand/mouth contact with the better part of over 20 children, even if in school; nor could have all those ill have eaten from one outlet (if contaminated) if so they would have all become ill simultaneously or within a week. Some victims were ill over three weeks ago and some are ill now. So I have to wonder about the water supply...My kids usually drink bought water(its cold in the fridge) however at kindergarten the water is tap water as it is at school.....hmmmm. My friend whose children drink bottled water at school and filtered water at home, have been in contact with my kids before, during and after their illness's and have contracted naught. (touch wood, sorry JLo if they get ill now) Call it conspiracy theory, call it the mad ravings of a "sick of spew and poo" mum, I just like to find out the whys and wherefores; so I question stuff.
aren't arguments funny...No, perhaps it's just my sick, warped humor then. Last night my father called, I call him my father as we used to say "Da" and too many people ask about it now and wanna know 1) Can't you say Dad or 2) Are you Irish? Both of which I cannot be bothered with so its Father, OK. He called to find out why I hadn't called him, hmmmm you have a phone too, you could have called me. No, he's is my father and I have to call him. After explaining the kids being ill and tests and such, he asked "but why didn't you call me?" Ummmm because I was busy and you could have called me. And so on for all of 10 minutes...So the crux of the argument being that daughters (and sons) have to call their fathers and the premise being that you have to call because you are the offspring. So be the word of my father.

Supa, we get exactly the same water that melbourne does, the pipeline to greenvale was connected in 1999. Back in the dark old days when we got our water from Rosslyne Reservior there were problems.
So I must be just sick of "po and spew" then.....I have a inexplicable need to have a reason for everything.
