Tiny town tid bits
Life's rife with funny moments that unless you live in the area or have some insight into that lifestyle, it could be something you are totally unaware of. A sort of "had to be there" moment except on a larger scale. There is a local on line forum in my locale that is inhabited by some very intelligent, informative people and infested by some very limited minds. It is funny to read the posts and contribute when it suits especially if the posts are blatant crapola and full of rhetorical bull dust. Some of the ongoing issues are the supposed lack of numbers at the local police station which one poster assumes to be the advocate and know all and be all of this issue. Not being a member of the police force themselves, they have ass-umed the role of a mini me Paul Mullet to extol the virtuousness of the local force and the lack of support they receive in man hours. How they acquire such supposed "information"? Well, they either make it up as they go along or some associated member of the local station are feeding the CONFIDENTIAL information to them. Such tit bits include, that members with upcoming retirements are taking unused sick leave, that the district command are deaf to the needs of the area...stuff that could only be fairy tales or someone telling tales out of school. Like much of what is spread about little towns and shires; it is like the stuff that paddock pizzas are made of.
