Is it legal???
Have to ask how far local government with a piss poor record already of compliance, good governance, transparency and honesty is willing to go. It is now verging on harassment and invasion of privacy that they still attempt to prove complaints which we have disproved once and have had the approriate authorities make standing recommendations to in regard to acceptance and handling of complaints. Albeit ,they are probably in a quandary with phone calls from the complainants, however; we are also ratepayers, and deserving of honesty and objectivity. An undertaking was given that nothing further would be entered into by them until such time as mediation was attended or refused by the other parties, this is to take place next week. On no less than 4 occasions, various council vehicles have been sighted nearby, no doubt waiting for the incessant and constant barking of my dogs as reported by the neighbours. So sad, too bad, it never happens, as it never did and never will!!!! Twice council vehicles have blantantly been parked in full view of my property which is tantamount to HARASSMENT.
So much for honesty and transparency and hurrah for deceptive conduct and bold faced lies.
It wearing a tad thin that they constantly act under the guise of good governance whilst facilitating the harassment by some. In eight months they have been incapable of investigating or proving the claims because the complainants lodge diaries for inconsistent periods or fail to comply with requests for second diaries...Grounds for dismissal of the matter? Oh, no our local council continue to harauge us with these allegations and act infavour of the whiners regardless of information we supply to the contary. Which incidently is being relayed back to the complainants so they may adjust and modify their information..Hardly HONEST or TRANSPARENT governance.
Is it even legal that they continue to pursue the matter? I'll let you know.
